Enrollment Requirements and Procedures
 
All persons who are between 18 to 60 years old and are in good health may apply for ISC Programs. Applicants are also required to have completed a high school education. Applicants who are below 18 years old can still apply for any ISC Programs. Kindly call or email us for confirmation and application requirements.
 
STEP 1
Carefully read ISC's program information on the web before applying. For further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact your nearest ISC office or representative by phone or email. For program details, please click here.
STEP 2
Send by FAX or EMAIL the materials mentioned below to ISC Beijing Office before the program application deadline.

1) ISC Application Form - Download
2) Copy of passport (photo and details page)
3) Certificate or Diploma of previous educational attainment
4) Copy of the application fee USD100 (Chinese Language Program OR
     
USD150 (Martial Arts Program) payment bank receipt (non-refundable)
5) Passport sized colored photo (with white/lightblue background)
     Six (6) copies for short term course (2 weeks - 12 weeks) and twelve (12) copies for long term
6) Resume - 1 page is sufficient (for 1 semester & 1 year applicants only)
7) Reference Letter by someone other than family members (for 1 semester & 1 year applicants only)
Payments from abroad must be sent through telegraphic/bank transfer (T/T) only.

NOTE: Any bank or transfer charges will be the responsibility of the enrollee.
NOTE: There will be a USD50 charge for late applications. Total application fee for late applicants is USD150.
The application fee of USD 100 is per person and per program/language course basis.
It is non-refundable and non-deductible to the total fee of the program/course.
STEP 3
Send by mail (registered or courier) the original copies of the materials mentioned above to ISC Beijing Office.

STEP 2 process is to guarantee that the applicant has a reserved placement in the program, while in STEP 3, the materials are required to be mailed to ISC's Beijing office because they are needed in the enrollment process.
STEP 4
After receiving the required application documents, the Admission's Department of International Students Center will send by EMAIL an Acceptance Notice to you within 3-5 days and confirm that you have a reserved placement in the program.
STEP 5
TOTAL PROGRAM FEE MUST BE PAID ONE(1) MONTH PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS.
Payments are accepted by bank transfer only.
Any bank or transfer charges will be the responsibility of the enrollee.

Students who are not enrolled as FULL PROGRAM must secure their own Medical Insurance
as this will be needed by the university.
The Admission Notice/Letter and JW202 Form for visa application will be mailed after 15 working days from the date of application by a registered courier to the address that was specified on the application form. A confirmation email will be sent to the enrollee once the documents were sent together with its tracking number.
Important Note:
- Students who will enroll for less than 12 weeks language class/program at the University of Internationa Relations (UIR-CIE) and International Students Chinese Language Center (ISCLC) will NOT be given a JW202 form. You will have to apply for a tourist visa and have your visa extended once you arrive in Beijing to satisfy the total number of class days you've enrolled.
STEP 6
After receiving the documents from ISC, kindly contact your local Chinese Embassy or Consulate for the Visa Application form and relative information. Below are the following documents needed by the Embassy or Consulate:
1) Visa Application Form (completed)
2) Your valid passport (must be valid for the entire duration of the program)
3) Copy of the Admission Notice/Letter
4) Copy of the JW202 Form (provided by International Students Center)
5) Visa application fee
6) 2 passport sized photos
NOTE: Studying less than a year in China requires an F visa. Studying for a year or more requires and X visa.
International Students Center highly recommend students to apply as early as possible taking into consideration the time needed for making reservation, sending Visa documents and Visa processing. In most countries, Visa processing takes approximately 5-10 days.
STEP 7
Kindly inform ISC Beijing Office by FAX or EMAIL at least 1 week prior to your arrival in Beijing for the arrangement in airport pick-up, accommodation registration and orientation.
